Psalmly is a church management app with AI built into the places a church already works.
Ten features use it. Two of them are whole jobs: Graphics draws the poster, slide or social post for whatever is coming up, from the event already on your calendar; Scribe turns a recording of a meeting, study or sermon into a transcript and a written-up document. The rest are help where you already are — an assistant for admins and a separate one for members, drafting for the weekly bulletin, for forms and for website pages, plain-language help with wording, and two camera features that read an offering count sheet or a receipt and fill the entry in.
None of it acts alone. The assistant proposes; a person confirms; the change is then made by that person, under their own permissions. Nothing is posted to a social account — Psalmly hands you the graphic and you publish it yourself. AI is available on the Community and Growth plans, and every other part of Psalmly is free forever.

Answers are drawn from your own published events, your church's details and the help articles your admins write, and they carry numbered sources you can open. Only the sources the answer actually cited are shown.

The core app — prayer, events, groups, giving, the member app, your website — is free forever. What Community and Growth add is the work a small church has nobody for: the poster, the write-up, the answer at 9pm. Generating costs money every time it runs, which is why it is on the paid plans.

Website page drafting
Describe a page for your website and get a draft built from the 10 block types custom pages support. It also edits a page you already have — it reads what is there first, so it adds rather than repeating you. You edit before it goes live.
Offering count sheet, photographed
Photograph the count sheet after the service and the batch comes back filled in: the cash total, and every check with its payer, its amount and the fund it names. You check it before anything saves.
Receipt capture
Photograph a receipt and the expense comes back pre-filled — vendor, date, amount, the tax split out, and a suggested category. Nothing is recorded until you confirm it.
Write and Polish
Help with the wording, where you are already writing: draft from a note, polish what you wrote, or tidy the formatting. It sits in the composer, not in a chat window.
The form builder generates from 9 field types, and page drafting from the 10 blocks your website supports — the same palettes you get building either by hand.

Which plans include AI?
AI is part of the Community and Growth plans, because generating costs money every time it runs. Free churches keep the heart of the app — prayer, events, groups, giving, the member app and the church website — and their admins can try the assistant and graphics first.
What is the clearest thing a paid plan does for us?
Graphics, for most churches. Point at the potluck already on your calendar and a finished poster comes back with the date, time and place lettered into the artwork — then you download it and post it yourself. It is the job a small church most obviously cannot staff, and the one where the result is something you can hold.
Does the AI do things without asking?
No. Every action arrives as a card you confirm. Nothing is created, sent or published until you press the button, and then it happens under your own account with your own permissions.
