How it works
Three steps, and the last one is yours.
Step 1
Ask in plain words
"When is the next elders' meeting?" · "Add a youth night on the 14th at 6." · "Tell everyone the cookout moved." There is no command syntax to learn.
Step 2
It answers, or it proposes
A question gets an answer drawn from your church's own published information, with numbered sources you can open. A request gets a filled-in card instead.
Step 3
You confirm — and it is your change
Nothing is written until you press the button, and the write then runs under your own account and permissions. The assistant cannot do anything your role could not do by hand.
The five things it can propose
Each arrives as a card with the details filled in. None of them writes anything until you say so.
- A new event
- Title, date, time and details filled in from what you asked for. You choose whether it saves as a draft or publishes to the church.
- An announcement
- Drafted for the whole church. Email always goes; a push notification and showing it on your public page are separate flags you set on the card before sending.
- Invitations by email
- One or more people invited to the church, at the role you name. On confirm it skips anyone who is already a member, so a pasted list cannot double-invite.
- A change to one date of a repeating event
- Cancel, reschedule or edit a single occurrence — next week's meeting — without touching the rest of the series. The subtlest of the five, and the one most often wanted.
- A way to the right page
- Where the answer is "here is where you do that", it offers a card that takes you there. It writes nothing at all; it saves you the hunt.

Where it stops
The limits are deliberate, and most of them are the point.
It never writes unprompted
There is no autonomous mode and no background agent. Every change is a card you press, and the write runs as you.
It cannot exceed your access
The change runs under your own permissions, so the assistant can never reach something your role could not.
It says when a page is closed to you
Rather than hiding a page you cannot open, it names it and tells you who grants access — a locked door you know about beats one you do not.
It is not in the member app
This one is for admins, on the web. Members get their own assistant, with its own much smaller set of actions.

Does it change anything on its own?
No. Every proposal arrives as a card with the details filled in, and nothing is written until you press the button. The change is then made by you, under your own account and your own permissions — so it can never do something your role could not.
Where do its answers come from?
Your own church: published events, your church profile, and the help articles your admins write. Answers carry numbered sources you can open, and only the sources the answer actually used are shown — an answer with nothing behind it shows none rather than a decorative row.
Can it change one week of a repeating event?
Yes, and this is the one people expect least. Ask it to cancel next week's meeting or move one date, and it proposes a change to that single occurrence — the rest of the series is untouched.
What happens if I ask about something I can't access?
It tells you, rather than pretending the page does not exist. An admin without finance access who asks about the donor-identified ledger is told a lead admin grants finance access from the Directory — and that church totals and reports are still open to them under Finances.
Is it in the mobile app?
Not the admin assistant — it runs on the web, alongside the rest of the admin side. Members have their own assistant, and that one is on iOS and Android as well as the web.
Does it send announcements to everyone?
Only when you confirm one. An announcement proposal always goes to the whole church by email; push notifications and showing it publicly are separate flags you choose on the card before sending.
