A church app with AI for members
The questions your congregation would otherwise text someone about — answered in their pocket, from what your church has actually published.
Members get an assistant that answers questions about their own church — service times, what is on this week, how to join a group — on the web and in the Psalmly mobile app.
It offers to do two things for them: sign them up for an event, and — where the church can already receive gifts — open the give form with the fund chosen.
Both ask first, and it never takes the payment itself.

How it works
Three steps, and the member takes the last one.
Step 1
They ask, in their own words
"What time is the service?" · "Is youth group on this week?" · "How do I give?" No menu to find, no page to hunt through.
Step 2
It answers from your church
From what you have actually published — your events, your church profile, the help your admins wrote. Not from the open internet, and not from another church's information.
Step 3
If there is something to do, it offers
A card appears: sign up for that event, or give to that fund. The member confirms it themselves, and giving finishes in the normal secure form.
The two things it will offer to do
Deliberately few. A member assistant that could change things on their behalf would be a worse idea than it sounds.
- Sign up for an event
- Where the event takes RSVPs, the card offers Going, Maybe and Can't make it. Where it takes a registration form, it offers a Register button instead. Where it needs no sign-up at all, the assistant says so plainly rather than inventing an RSVP that means nothing.
- Give to a fund
- It opens the give form with the fund already chosen — and the amount and frequency too, if they said them. It does not take the payment: the member confirms and pays in the normal flow, the same one they would reach from the giving page.
- …and only where giving is live
- The giving offer appears only when the church can actually receive gifts — online giving switched on, and a fund the member can see. Everywhere else the assistant answers the question without holding out a button that goes nowhere.
- Everything else is an answer
- It has no other actions. It cannot change a member's details, message anyone, or act for the church — it answers, and it offers those two.

It never takes a payment
Giving finishes in the secure give form, where the member confirms it. The assistant only opens that form with the fund filled in.
It answers from your church only
Your published events, your church profile, your admins' help articles. It is not a general chatbot and does not answer from the open internet.
It has no admin powers
It cannot create events, send announcements or invite anyone. Those belong to the admin assistant, and to admins.
It waits for a tap
Both of its actions are confirm-first. Nothing is recorded — no RSVP, no gift — until the member presses the button themselves.

What can a member actually ask it?
Things they would otherwise text someone about: when the service starts, what is on this week, where the building is, how to join a group, how to give. It answers from what the church has published, not from the open internet.
Can it take a payment?
No. When a member wants to give, it opens the give form with the fund already chosen — and the amount and frequency too, if they said them. The member completes and confirms the gift themselves, in the normal secure flow.
Does giving by chat always appear?
Only where the church can already receive gifts — that means online giving is switched on and there is a fund the member can see. Where it is not, the assistant answers the question without offering a button that would go nowhere.
Can it sign someone up for an event?
Yes, with a confirm first. For an event taking RSVPs it shows Going, Maybe and Can't make it; for one with a registration form it shows a Register button. For an event that needs no sign-up it says so plainly rather than inventing one.
Is it on iPhone and Android?
Yes — the member assistant is in the Psalmly app on both, and on the web. It is the same assistant either way.
Do members pay for it?
Never. The church holds one subscription and every member it invites gets full access. Members are not billed for anything, ever.
