Your graphics library

The Graphics shelf — everything your church has made, in one place. Finding an old graphic, opening one to see its brief and every redraw, downloading any version as a PNG, using one again on a new event, deleting one safely, and what stays if your plan lapses.

Graphics in the admin sidebar is your church's shelf: every graphic anyone has made, newest first. It's here so a graphic you made for last Sunday's slide is still there in September when you want it for the bulletin.

Everything on this page belongs to your church and is visible only to your admins. Nothing on it is public.

Finding one

Each card shows the graphic itself — the picture is how you'll recognize it — with:

  • What it was for, when you attached something ("Harvest Potluck Supper"), or a short quotation from what you wrote if you didn't.
  • When you made it — "3 weeks ago."
  • Which look it was drawn in, or Auto.
  • How many redraws it has, if there's more than one.

Newest sits first. If you have more than a screenful, Show 24 more brings the next batch, and the line underneath tells you how many you're looking at.

Downloading

Downloading is the point of this page, and it's free — as often as you like.

Hover a card (on a phone they're always showing) and use the download button in the corner.

Graphics come down as PNG files. That's deliberate: Instagram won't accept a WebP upload, and older versions of Office and most print counters turn it away too — so Psalmly hands you the format everything takes. Each file is named with the date, the look, and the shape, like psalmly-graphic-2026-09-08-stained-glass-2x3.png, with -v2, -v3 and so on for redraws, so a folder of them stays sortable.

Opening one

Click a card to see it large, along with:

  • The brief — what you asked for, in full.
  • When it was made, and what was attached.
  • Redraws — every version, newest first, each labeled with the change you asked for ("warmer"), and the first one marked "first draw".

Click any version to bring it up, then Download this version. That matters more than it sounds: if the third of five redraws was the good one, that's the file you want, and it's still there.

There's no editing or redrawing from here. To ask for a change you make a new graphic in the composer — see Making a graphic.

Deleting

Use the menu on a card, or Delete graphic inside the detail view. Psalmly asks you to confirm, and says plainly what will happen — including how many redraws go with it.

Deleting a graphic does not change anything you already used it on. If you put it on an event, an announcement, or a campaign, that page keeps its own copy of the image and carries on exactly as before. The two are separate files. It works the other way round too: deleting the event doesn't delete the graphic.

What deleting does do is remove it from this library, along with all of its redraws, and that can't be undone.

If you've never made one

The page explains what Graphics does and offers Make a graphic. That's the whole doorway — see Making a graphic for what's on the other side of it.

Using one again

You don't have to download a graphic to reuse it. Every image field in Psalmly — on an event, an announcement, or a campaign — has a Choose or make a graphic link, once you've typed a title. It opens your library, so last spring's poster can go straight onto this spring's event. Picking one is free. See Adding a graphic to an event, announcement, or campaign.

If your plan lapses

Your library stays. Everything your church made is still here, still downloadable, and still usable on new events, announcements, and drives, however long ago you made it — a banner at the top says so. Only making new ones needs a plan with Psalmly AI. See Managing your plan and billing.
