Asking Psalmly
How to use Ask Psalmly, your church's AI helper, when your church has it — asking about service times and events, getting help to RSVP or give, and what to know about accuracy and privacy.
When your church is on a paid plan, you'll see Ask Psalmly — a friendly assistant that answers questions about your church. Look for the sparkle button while you're in the church; tap it and just ask.
What you can ask
Ask in plain words, the way you'd ask a church member who knows everything:
- "What time is the service on Sunday?"
- "What's happening this week?"
- "How do I give to the building fund?"
- "Is there a youth group?"
It answers from your church's own information — service times, upcoming events, giving funds, and anything your church has added to help the assistant. It'll point you to where things live in the app, and it shows its sources so you can check. Like any assistant it can occasionally be off, so confirm the important details.
It can help you do things too
Ask Psalmly can tee up an action and hand it back to you to finish — it never does anything without you:
- RSVP or register for an event.
- Start a gift to a fund — it opens the giving form with your choices filled in; you still review and confirm the payment yourself.
If you don't see it
Ask Psalmly is part of your church's paid plan, so not every church has it turned on. If you don't see the sparkle button, your church simply hasn't enabled it — everything else in Psalmly works exactly the same either way.
Privacy
The assistant is only for signed-in members of your church. Your conversations are yours, and it only knows what your church has chosen to make available to its members.
